    Description


    Insight Global is looking for a Field Support Engineer based in Austin, Texas This person will lead customer-facing technical support.

    This role is a mixture of sales engineer, new product development, and field technical support.

    It encompasses pre-sales and post-sales responsibilities, ranging from identifying customer needs, defining new products, and guiding product development, to hands-on tasks like equipment installation and evaluations.

    And as we expand our technical training offerings as a product, you'll play a pivotal role in assisting the training department with content creation.


    Under the guidance of the Director of Applications Engineering and Technical Support, you will champion engineering efforts, build enduring customer relationships at all levels, and enhance technical interactions.

    This position is instrumental in propelling projects forward within fabs and actively contributes to the creation of technical marketing and engineering documents, including white papers, technical sales presentations, installation procedures, application notes, and 8D reports.

    Bachelors or Associates Degree in Engineering or a related technical field.

    6+ years of experience in semiconductor equipment

    Experience with AMAT, TEL, or LAM tools.

    Experience with PVD, CVD, Etch, RTP, or Epi tools.
