    The Opportunity:

    A well-designed network is critical to move data and enable organizations to achieve their missions, but how can an organization make sure their network will fit their evolving needs? Crafting the right network, with the right equipment and sof tware, requires a combination of te chn ical skill and careful planning.

    That's why we need you, a network engineer who knows how to develop the exact network DoD needs.

    As a network engineer on our team, you'll use your skills in network and computer systems to help support the nation's defense and resp ond to evolving adversaries.

    You'll troubleshoot and resolve network issues and increase security, reliability, and availability for mission-critical network systems.

    You'll apply your knowledge in routing and switching, integration of encryption gear, network design and architecture, system interoperability, IP engineering, network transport layers, multi-protocol label switching, gateway protocol, virtual routing, and forwarding as you join our team of problem-solvers to help the DoD evolve and deploy new capabilities and te chn ologies.

    Your knowledge of network protocols, equipment, emerging te chn ology, and configurations will come in handy as you help optimize client operations and modernization .

    Using your experience in sof tware and hardware firewalls, you'll serve as a t rus ted advisor to clients on mission-critical projects.

    You Have:
    * 5+ years of experience with networking hardware and sof tware

    • 5+ years of experience operating DoD networks
    • Experience with LAN / WAN interfacing, security, internet protocols, and TCP / IP
    • Experience with engineering data, voice, and video networks
    • Experience with network monitoring tools


    • TS/SCI clearance

    • HS diploma or GED and 8+ years of experience working in a professional environment, or Bachelor's degree
    • Cisco Certified Network Professional ( CCNP ) Certification Nice If

    You Have:

    • Experience maintaining a secure transfer of data to multiple locations via internal and external networks
    • Experience working with vendors, the government, carriers, and te chn ical staff on network implementation, optimization, and ongoing management
    • Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert ( CCIE )

    Certification Clearance:
    Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information ; TS/SCI clearance is required

    Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements.

    The projected compensation range for this position is $60,300.00 to $137, annualized USD).

    The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees.
