Service Manager - Phoenix, United States - Emerald Textiles
Description
Emerald Textiles is currently looking for Service Manager for our Phoenix location who will be responsible for overseeing the establishment and management of the service department, daily inventory management for all customers while delivering exceptional service, quality linen, complete and on-time, every day.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develops a positive working relationship and maintains professional rapport with all customers.
- Follows through on all promises and problem solving efforts and demands same from route managers and RSRs.
- Promotes and reinforces Emerald Textiles systems and service philosophy while showing empathy of customer concerns.
- Actively participates in usage review and control with regard to Par Sheets.
- Ensures proper control of linen circulation.
- Communicates on a daily basis with Operations regarding linen needs.
- Maintains integrity of delivery routes and loading schedules.
- Works with route managers and RSRs accountable for budgeted hours.
- Maintain truck fleet.
- Maintain all DOT compliance requirements.
- Performs other tasks and special duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's Degree in applicable field or equivalent technical training and/or education, or
- 10+ years of route sales experience
- 5+ years of experience managing route sales staff in a similar environment
- Strong knowledge of state and local laws and regulations applicable to the industry
- Familiarity with OSHA standards and guidelines
- Excellent record keeping, attention to detail and communication skills
- Strong written, verbal, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Thorough knowledge of MS Office products
- Ability to work well with superiors, coworkers and subordinates
- Selfmotivated
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Ability to push, pull, bend, kneel and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to sit for long periods of time.

Pay:
$65, $80,000.00 per year

- Supervising: 3 years (required)
