    As a cook with Boys and Girls Club of Truckee Meadows, you'll work as part of a kitchen team to prepare and serve meals and snacks to children and teens at our East Ninth Street Clubhouse. You'll focus on their nutritional needs by:
    • preparing nutritional meals and snack following set recipes and menus;
    • washing and sanitizing space, dishes, and equipment;
    • monitoring inventory of food and supplies;
    • providing direction to other staff in completion of the production list;
    • inspecting and signing for food deliveries;
    • lifting, transporting, and unpacking boxes up to 45 pounds;
    • and serving students in a cafeteria setting.
    This is what your day could look like as a cook with BGCTM:
    • This role is full time from 6am to 3pm, and we always aim for consistent schedules for our staff to promote work-life balance.
    • Our locations are open Monday through Friday, and we need staff to be available for the same shift Monday through Friday.
    • We have five locations throughout Reno/Sparks, and while this position will be assigned to our East Ninth Street location, reliable transportation to all sites is preferred.

    • Pay ranges from $19.50 to $21.50, depending on experience and education.
