PCB Soldering/Rework Specialist for our client in
San Jose, CA

  • Experience using a microscope for soldering.
  • Working knowledge of resistors and capacitors

What you will receive:

Contract to Direct


Pay:
Up to $26/hr. **Depending on experience


Hours:
M-F Swing shift: 2:30pm-10:30/11:30pm


Here's what you'll do:


  • Responsible for reworking PCB assemblies and soldering as needed.
  • Responsible for soldering of finepitch surface mount and throughhole components in a leadfree (RoHS) assembly line using a microscope.
  • Soldering of cable assemblies
  • Regularly incorporating engineering change orders (ECO) on PCB assembles
  • Assisting the manufacturing department in the electromechanical assembly of systemlevel products
  • Perform simple SMT/throughhole removal/replacement of components
  • General electronics assembly as required (electromechanical)
  • Maintain a clean rework area and perform setup/maintenance
  • Perform daily cleaning and light maintenance
  • Ensure all manufacturing, safety, and regulatory policies and procedures are implemented and always maintained.

Required Skills / Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5 years' active experience soldering in fine pitch SMT and through hole soldering

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of IPC Workmanship standards or certification in soldering
  • Proficiency in utilizing soldering iron, hotair machines, and microscope
  • Experience in Electromechanical assembly

Pay:
From $26.00 per hour
