In your two-year apprenticeship as a specialist for metal technology (m|w|d), you will be trained in our assembly technology department. In addition to general skills such as manufacturing, assembling and disassembling components, you will also learn other knowledge and skills such as maintaining operating equipment, control technology, and rigging, securing and transporting. Since all of this requires careful planning, you will also be taught how to plan and prepare assembly and disassembly processes, monitor them, and even optimize them. And your safety is also a priority in the apprenticeship. As you will be working with machines and equipment, you will also learn how to handle them safely. You will learn all of these things theoretically in vocational school and practically in our workshop under the guidance of our trainer and experienced colleagues. And not just in our workshop, but also out on the road, where you will also be working in the future.

What to expect:
  • We offer a multi-day introductory event at the start of the apprenticeship: Get to know your fellow apprentices and important information about SWK
  • You will receive a monthly training allowance according to the collective agreement. To start, it is 1,218.26 euros
  • You have 30 days of vacation per year
