Our work environment includes:

Responsibilities:


  • Assist occupational therapists in providing therapy services to patients.
  • Implement treatment plans and interventions under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist.
  • Help patients improve their motor skills, coordination, and functional abilities.
  • Teach patients how to use adaptive equipment and assistive devices.
  • Monitor and document patient progress during therapy sessions.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and home exercise programs.
  • Maintain accurate and uptodate patient records.

Requirements:


  • Certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA).
  • Knowledge of human anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
  • Familiarity with occupational health principles and practices.
  • Experience working with medical imaging and interpreting results.
  • Ability to work in various healthcare settings, including acute care and pediatrics.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent problemsolving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
