Bosch Automotive Electronics India Pvt. Ltd. (RBAI), established in 2009, is primarily focused in manufacturing electronic products for the automotive sector.

RBAI has consistently added an average of one product every year resulting in a wide range of products comprising – Engine Control Units (ECU) for both 4W and 2W, Electronic Power Steering Control Units, Body Control Modules (BCM), Immobilizers, Voltage Regulators (VR1), Electronic Battery Sensors (EBS), DC-DC Converters, ABS for 2W and 4W, Car Multimedia – Infotainment System, iTrams (communication control unit) and now recently the Bosch TEP120 (Telematics Smart Plug) being featured on With our first product having been produced in 2009, RBAI is now celebrating 10 years of serving the Automotive Electronics (AE) Industry.

RBAI successfully achieved a key milestone in 2016, completing manufacturing of 10 million Engine Control Units and 5 million Body Control Modules, which soon followed by 20 million and 10 million respectively by 2019.

RBAI exports products to all major global customers spread across destinations.

RBAI towards becoming a global benchmark in operational excellence, consistently produces single digit ppm quality products and maintains benchmark inventory levels.

RBAI by inheriting the Bosch Production System (BPS) at all levels and practices, is at the top of the AE BPS ranking, as of December, 2018.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
:

Responsible for

Pick and Place, Milling, Thermo Fuse locking and

conveyor systems Technical availability.
Should work in 3 shifts operation and reports to maintenance Shift In charge .
Should have a thorough knowledge of trouble shooting and programming knowledge of ASM pick and place machines.
Should have a thorough knowledge of trouble shooting and programming knowledge of Panasonic pick and place (CM402 , CM602 & NPMW , W2) machines
Should have a thorough knowledge of trouble shooting and programming knowledge of ASM pick and place (SX2) machines
Should have a thorough knowledge of trouble shooting of Milling machines
Carry out Preventive maintenance and predictive maintenance
Effectively escalate the open points and major breakdowns to Suppliers and close it with in shortest period.
Should work for reducing the Maintenance cost
Spare parts management and follow-up to get the spare parts.
Keep MTTR below the target levelShould be able to handle entire SMT line independently.
Find the R.C through 5why analysis as per the defined criteria
Should have good analytical skills, converting ability to solve problems on machines & lines.
Should possess deep problem-solving abilities eg:
8D
Should predict the problems in the machine and take preliminary actions to avoid the breakdown (implementation of Predictive maintenance)
Should work for controlling the scrap and droppage
Should work on Continuous improvement
Responsible for individual target and department target
Should work in 3 shifts operation and reports to maintenance shift Leader
PLC Knowledge is added advantage .

Ensure the adherence to manufacturing process compliance with legal & safety requirements, customer requirements, Bosch standards and process specifications and ensure the team also follows the same.

Periodic tasks :

Should periodically review PM & B/D points, and convert them to CBM, Predictive mode.
Need to make scientific analysis of failure and make suggestion of monitoring.
Should work for reducing the Maintenance Cost
Should possess deep problem-solving abilities eg:
8D
Create QAM, Machine FMEA and review.
Change potential points into CBM.
Implementation and sustenance of TPM, MTBF and MTTR
Co-ordination with Process owner for improvement activities.
Diploma in Mechatronics / Electronics /Electrical

6 Years of experience in Electronics manufacturing industry with the sound Electrical and Mechanical Trouble shooting skills on Pick and place machines, Milling , Thermo fuse locking and conveyor systems . Knowledge on other SMT machines like Solder paste printing, Reflow, AOI machines , Process Knowledge in Complete SMT line and Knowledge on Xray machines will be an added advantage.
