Area of responsibility

Department 16 "Corporate Security" serves as a central service provider for the DRV Bund and is responsible for IT and physical security, protection of personal data, confidentiality, emergency management, as well as fundamental and cross-sectional tasks in information security management consulting in department 16 - Corporate Security - of the DRV Bund advises and supports projects and employees on questions and topics of information security based on the DRV Bund's own information security policy based on BSI standards.

Tasks

  • Advising responsible experts and companies on the creation and updating of IT security concepts according to BSI IT basic protection standards
  • Advising responsible persons and projects on questions of information security and security concepts as well as on the transfer of security concepts to the respective management systems
  • Advising and supporting the creation of DRV Bund-wide guidelines, concepts and action instructions for information security
  • Advising and participating in information security management as well as in reporting within the scope of the responsible tasks
