Hephzibah Children's Association is a social service agency that has been helping children thrive and families flourish for more than 125 years.

The Family Based Services program is hiring for The Positive Parenting Program (Triple P). This program offers home coaching for parents with broadly focused parenting support and intervention on a one-to-one basis.

This program provides curriculum-based support to parents who have concerns about their child's behavior or development across various settings (6-12 years old).

The Family Facilitator will provide services to families within a community-based setting through individualized, performance-based plans to promote and develop positive behavior for their child and general parental autonomy throughout the intervention process.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor's degree in social work or related field required, master's degree preferred.
  • Previous case management experience in social services/child welfare
  • Experience working with clients using evidencebased intervention.
  • Detail oriented with excellent interpersonal, time management, and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills with Microsoft Office
  • Must be able to work flexible hours to meet the needs of families including some evenings. Willingness to work in clients' homes and community settings.
  • Must complete training in evidencebased treatment model.
  • Must have valid Illinois Driver's license and access to a car.
  • Demonstrate sensitivity and responsiveness to the cultural differences in the staff and client populations.

Pay:
From $42,000.00 per year
