Watton Hall is proud to partner exclusively with a rapidly expanding global pharmaceutical company that offers a vibrant and dynamic culture within a growing organization. Due to the ongoing success of their marketed products and new collaborations, the company is seeking to expand their head office team by hiring an in-house lawyer. This individual will be responsible for providing legal support to corporate finance, head office functions, and specialized business units located around the world.

Key Responsibilities:

General Legal Responsibilities:

Collaborate with internal stakeholders on all legal projects and tasks, utilizing external specialist law firms as needed
Negotiate with external stakeholders and partners
Interpret existing agreements and provide legal advice to various internal departments, including management, business development, manufacturing, supply, and commercial teams
Track deadlines and dates related to legal matters and projects
Work with compliance and data privacy departments
Advise and collaborate with external legal counsel for countries/regions outside of Europe (e.g. Asia, Australia, Middle East, Africa, Latin America, etc.), serving as the point of contact and providing necessary information and guidance
Manage contract lifecycle, including uploading and approving agreements in the LinkSquares database, generating agreements from templates, and reviewing agreements in LinkSquares
