Department Manager

Municipal Waste Management (m/f/d):

within the Finance department.


Your responsibilities (excerpt):


  • Management and leadership of the department
  • Preparation of budget estimates for waste disposal
  • Ongoing budget monitoring
  • Calculation of waste fees
  • Landfill monitoring (conditions, aftercare)
  • Contract management (preparation, drafting, monitoring, enforcement, accounting) with waste disposal companies, dual systems
  • Coordination of debt collection with the district treasury
  • Coordination/collaboration with the waste management association
  • Enforcement of waste management and fee regulations
  • Administration of waste management software

We expect:


  • Civil servant (m/f/d) of the 3rd qualification level or equivalent qualified employee (m/f/d) (employee training course II), alternatively an experienced civil servant (m/f/d) of the 2nd qualification level with the willingness to further qualify in the future
  • Individual with sufficient professional and life experience
