Position Summary:


The Production Manager is in charge of the day-to-day operations of manufacturing and assembly section of the company material flow.

Responsible for building a high-performing workforce, the effective use of all the manufacturing equipment and the continuous improvement of the material flow throughout the manufacturing facility.

Ensure that production goals and quality standards are met.

  • Production and Processing: Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and movement of aerospace parts and assemblies.
  • Mechanical: Knowledge and familiarity of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
  • Administration and Management: Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning execution, resource allocation, human resources modeling, leadership technique, production methods, and coordination of people and resources.
  • Education and Training: Knowledge of principles and methods for curriculum and training design, teaching and instruction for individuals and groups, and the measurement of training effects.

Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.

Position Requirements:


  • A fouryear Mechanical or Industrial Engineering degree. Six years in Aerospace Manufacturing work experience may be substituted.
  • Four years work experience in a management/supervisory role.
  • Familiar with a variety of the aerospace manufacturing field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Proficient with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma concepts preferable with a recognized certification.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP Applications.
