Responsibilities:

You are responsible for the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements according to HGB and international accounting standards (US-GAAP).
You act as a proactive contact person for the American parent company in all accounting and financial reporting matters, as well as for auditors, tax advisors, and other external stakeholders.
You establish new accounting standards, adapt internal accounting and coding guidelines, and actively advise department heads on accounting issues.
You provide reports and financial statements for various internal and external stakeholders and maintain the internal reporting tool.
You optimize internal processes, establish compliance rules, SOXX requirements, and internal control systems, and support crossdepartmental digitalization projects.

Profile:

You have successfully completed a degree in economics, finance, accounting, or a comparable vocational training with additional qualifications as a certified accountant.
You have several years of professional experience in accounting, preferably in an international environment.
You also have indepth knowledge of HGB and international accounting standards. Additional experience in US-GAAP is an advantage.
You have fluent German and English skills (spoken and written).
You are an analytical, communicative person with a high degree of flexibility.
You work independently and take responsibility with a high level of solution orientation.
