This approach includes both crisis interventions, such as emergency shelter and family reunification services, as well as ongoing support to build family resiliency, including counseling, education, and parenting classes.

In 2020 alone, Child Crisis Arizona served over 6,000 children and families through various programs and services.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Leads agency annual fundraising campaign efforts
  • Provides supervision for key members of the development team
  • Donor Management related activities:
  • Oversight of update to donor records.
  • Create and maintain donor based software system updates and proactively engage in growth strategies utilizing software.
  • Work with Development team to mine and pull data from Donor Perfect for list and strategy purposes and overall donor analysis
  • Oversee agency donor thank you process and recognition programs
  • Reviews, recommends and interprets fund development policies as related to donor database and donor interactions;
  • Create and maintain a Donor Perfect user manual specific for agency practices;
  • Perform Donor Perfect user support and training for current and new staff.
  • Manage the development of annual plans, manage and grow the individual donor base, create pipeline for major giving and planned gift prospects, and coordinate all aspects of a comprehensive Individual Giving program, including identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of donors.
  • Donor Retention, Sponsorship Procurement and Third Party Fundraising.
  • Provide Community Outreach program oversight to promote donor growth.
  • Develop and implement initiatives to sustain and grow participation among lapsed, current and new clients.
  • Search for new opportunity partnerships in 3rd party events and solicit corporate sponsorships for agency events
  • Oversight of Fundraising related materials with VP of Resource Development & Communications
  • Assist with VP of Resource Development & Communications Fundraising related video scripts and production
  • Assist VP of Resource Development & Communications in maintenance of Major Gifts Program
  • Provides support to Program Director and designated staff.
  • Develops and maintains positive relationships with staff and volunteers.
  • Responsible for completing monthly, quarterly, and annual tracking and reporting.
  • Models Agency's expectation for sensitivity and competency relating to diversity and cultural awareness.
  • Assists in Team Philanthropy tours, special events and assists in presentations, as assigned
  • Updating, writing and preparing letters, recognition items, and managing prospect leads.
  • Performs additional duties as needed.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Education must consist of a Bachelor's degree (preferably Marketing / Communications /Non-Profit) AND 3+ years of experience in Marketing and Development activities.
  • Certified Fundraising Professional (CFRE) preferred
  • Must show proficiency experience in the following computer programs: word processing in a Windows environment, Publisher, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, Excel, Fundraising databases and PowerPoint.
  • Must be able to display verbal and written communication skills that meet the requirements of the position and needs of vendors and community liaisons.
  • Must possess valid Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card or able to obtain one prior to employment
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
