OVERVIEW:
_ The Member Services Operations (MSO) Representative is responsible for processing daily department functions; focusing on member service standards, meeting organizational goals, and maintaining positive and professional relationships with members, peers, staff, and vendors.
The Member Services Operations (MSO) department functions consist of EFT processing which includes ACH, Share Draft, Wires, Mobile Banking, ATM, and Debit Card programs including claims, disputes, and settlement of transactions, IRAs, dormant accounts, and other department processing and MSO-related account issues.
Specific duties include, but are not limited to, the following:- Process the daily ACH, CCL and Inclearing functions such as, but not limited to, review batches for process returns, release ACH origination files, research and clear IAT transactions, and process unauthorized transactions.
- Process all functions related to debit cards such as, but not limited to, order new cards, resolve member issues, complete process for unauthorized transaction and review Fiserv reports. Process daily ATM transaction posting, order cash and network daily network settlement.
- Process domestic and international wire transfers for members and maintain documentations for audits.
- Perform back office duties such as, but not limited to, levies, subpoenas, mobile deposits review, online banking, IRA's, RDI's, Stop payments, and dormant accounts as assigned.
- Review all new deposit accounts offered at the Credit Union. Ensure all documents are in Insight and all procedures were followed according to the Credit Union requirement. Perform maintenance to accounts to set up payroll deductions, make address and title changes or other maintenance that may be necessary from time to time.
- Perform a variety of clerical duties requiring exercise of judgement and detailed knowledge of departmental procedures, which may include answering member calls, documenting requests from members, and processing mail.
- Resolve routine problems independently, refer more complex problems or issues to management.
- Responsible for opening and servicing all deposit products offered by the Credit Union including online banking, bill pay and voice response.
- Comply with all applicable regulations pertaining to the position such as Truth in Savings and Regulation E.
- Compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act, OFAC and USA Patriot Act including Customer Identification Program for new members, accurate completion of new account activity profile, and reporting suspicious activity to supervisor.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- High school education (or equivalent) with specialized product knowledge training
- One year of Teller experience
- Experience in Backoffice Operations a plus
- Demonstrates communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the Internet

From $53,400.00 per year
