This is a full time position eligible for benefits.

This position pays $20.00 per hour.

Overview:


Tasked with cleaning and maintaining public areas of the hotel, assisting room attendants with stripping of linens out of guest rooms and suites, vacuuming, shampooing of carpets; cleaning waxing of floors; trash removal; stocking and maintaining supply rooms and other cleaning duties as assigned.

Must be able to work in a fast paced environment that is physically demanding.


Responsibilities:

  • Ability to plan, prioritize, organize, maintain concentration, and complete all work assigned.
  • Ability to perform job functions with mínimal supervision.
  • Ability to work cohesively with coworkers as part of a team. Be a Team Player and encourage the teamwork attitude among staff.
  • Keep work area clean and neat, free from dust and litter.
  • Loads carts with supplies needed to perform duties.
  • Maintain cleanliness of public areas
  • Remove and dispose of trash
  • Respond to guest requests including delivery of rollaway beds, microwaves, fridges and other special items.
  • Ensure all equipment is in operation order and all supplies are up to par. Report equipment that needs repair or supplies that need to be ordered.
  • Interacts with guests to answer questions and provide necessary services. Refers guests to other staff members if needed.
  • Be familiar with the operating procedures of all other areas of the hotel, cooperating fully and in a friendly manner with those areas to assure customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure areas are free of safety hazards and performs all duties in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Ensures total guest satisfaction.
  • Follow supervisor's instructions and performs other duties as directed or assigned.
