    General Summary

    The FP&A Analyst is responsible for analyzing financial data to support business decisions. They create financial models, develop and maintain forecasts and provide insights to help guide the company's financial strategy.

    The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify key business drivers, conducting ad-hoc financial analysis and presenting findings to senior management.

    Strong analytical skills, proficiency in financial modeling and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this role.

    Principal Duties And Core Responsibilities

    Prepare and analyze financial reports, including budgets vs. actual performance, variance analysis and forecasts
    Create insightful financial models to aid in strategic planning and decision-making
    Collaborate with department heads to develop and maintain annual budgets
    Assist in the forecasting process to provide accurate, data-driven insights
    Identify and communicate budget variances and potential cost-saving opportunities
    Conduct ad-hoc data analysis to support business initiatives
    Extract and manipulate financial data to identify trends and opportunities
    Present findings and recommendations to the finance team and senior management
    Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand their financial needs
    Provide financial insights and guidance to support departmental goals and objectives
    Communicate financial information in a clear and concise manner to non-finance stakeholders
    Identify areas for process improvement within the FP&A function
    A dynamic and collaborative work environment
    Preparation of periodic KPIs for management
    Create ad hoc reporting as needed
    Assist with acquisition related activities
    Other duties as assigned

    Education

    Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred

    Experience

    Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting or related roles

    Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

    Strong proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis and Microsoft Excel.
    NetSuite accounting software experience preferred
    Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
    Strong communication and presentation skills
    Detailed-oriented with a focus on accuracy and data integrity
    Must be organized, detail oriented, and able to provide solutions and follow-up within established rules and timelines
    Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously
    Thoroughness
    Strong mathematical and analytical thinking skills

    Physical And Mental Requirements

    Sit or stand for extended periods of time at stationary work station
    The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
    Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus
    This position requires regular oral/written interaction with clients, team members and management
    Infrequent traveling may be required within the United States
