Music at Great Hearts

Music (K5)
This course focuses on basic theory, classical music history, and choral performance
Music Theory and Performance (grades Grades 78 are comprised of music theory and recorder performance while grades 910 continue with music theory and return to choral performance.
Introduction to the Fine Arts (History and Practicum) (6th grade)
At some academies, this introduction to the fine arts covers basic theory and instruction in each of the fine arts areas taught at the prep academy. Some new academies offer this course in 7th grade for entering students.
