TITLE:

Arts Professional Development Facilitator

***: To lead professional development sessions tailored to address the specific content requirements of educators within the Fine and Performing Arts Department at Framingham Public Schools.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS:

A minimum of a Master's Degree in the area of study is preferred.


TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

Experience in the field with appropriately aged students
Professional experience and/or experience in a school setting

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Plan and conduct engaging professional development workshops for educators in the Fine and Performing Arts Department
  • Customize workshop content to cater to the specific needs of teachers in the department
  • Collaborate with department staff to identify areas for professional growth and development
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of professional development sessions and make necessary adjustments for improvement
  • Stay updated on best practices in professional development and incorporate innovative strategies into workshops

PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Ability to move around the workshop venue
  • Lift at least 20 lbs and operate office machinery like computers and printers
  • Monitor workshop environment for safety
  • Interact with workshop participants and meet multiple demands
  • Manage potential exposure to various workshop materials and ensure a safe workshop environment.
