TITLE:

Arts Professional Development Facilitator

***: To lead professional development sessions tailored to address the specific content requirements of educators within the Fine and Performing Arts Department at Framingham Public Schools.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS:

A minimum of a Master's Degree in the area of study is preferred.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

Experience in the field with appropriately aged students
Professional experience and/or experience in a school setting

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plan and conduct engaging professional development workshops for educators in the Fine and Performing Arts Department
Customize workshop content to cater to the specific needs of teachers in the department
Collaborate with department staff to identify areas for professional growth and development
Evaluate the effectiveness of professional development sessions and make necessary adjustments for improvement
Stay updated on best practices in professional development and incorporate innovative strategies into workshops

PHYSICAL WORKING CONDITIONS:

Ability to move around the workshop venue
Lift at least 20 lbs and operate office machinery like computers and printers
Monitor workshop environment for safety
Interact with workshop participants and meet multiple demands
Manage potential exposure to various workshop materials and ensure a safe workshop environment.
