    Job Title: Field Superintendent - Glazing Contractor

    Position Overview: My client is seeking an experienced Field Superintendent to oversee their glazing projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in glazing, excellent leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail. This role is critical to ensuring that our projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Oversee all on-site activities for glazing projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines and specifications.
    • Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel.
    • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and building codes.
    • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work.
    • Resolve any on-site issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process.
    • Communicate effectively with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.
    • Maintain accurate daily logs and reports on project status.
    • Assist in the development and implementation of project schedules.
    • Participate in project meetings and provide updates on project progress.
    • Train and mentor junior staff and crew members.

    Qualifications:

    • Proven track record of managing multiple glazing projects simultaneously.
    • Strong knowledge of glazing systems, materials, and installation techniques.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction documents.
    • Proficient in construction management software and MS Office Suite.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
    • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
