About this Role:

NorthStar Energy Services offers engineering, procurement, project management, construction management, and consulting solutions to clients in the energy, petrochemical, and process industries.

Our clients include oil & gas processing and transportation, refining, chemical, renewable, and gas companies.

Our team of skilled professionals, from mid-level engineers to senior technical experts, have experience in applicable process technologies, program management, conceptual and detailed design engineering, and construction management.


What You'll Do:

What You'll Bring:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Hardware setup/configuration, troubleshooting, and replacement.
  • Deploying build images and software using SCCM.
  • Enduser support, including moves, transfers, new hires, and VIP users.
  • Printer support and installation, basic network connectivity troubleshooting.
  • Inventory management and asset commissioning/decommissioning.
  • Troubleshooting and performing breakfix issues for desktops, laptops, accessories, and mobile devices.
  • VPN connectivity/installations and IMAC software/hardware requests.
  • Assets management and telephony services support.
  • Antivirus management and Citrix installation troubleshooting.
  • Veeam backup knowledge or similar
  • Mobile device management (MDM) for IOS and android devices.
  • Utilization of tools such as Teams, SCCM, RDP, Active Directory, and Webex.

SKILLS
AND
ABILITIES:


  • Proven experience in computer networking. And networking components
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware components and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Familiarity with firewall configuration and security protocols.
  • Experience in supporting mobile devices (iOS, Android).
  • Proficiency in using IT support tools such as Jira or similar ticketing systems.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical users.
  • Strong customer service orientation with a focus on problemsolving.

EDUCATION
AND EXPERIENCE:


  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security + and others. Are a plus but not required.
  • Help desk: 1 year (preferred)
  • Windows: 1 year
