Position Description:
As a Registered Nurse in our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional patient care
Your responsibilities will include:
- Observing, assessing, and diagnosing patients' conditions
- Developing and implementing nursing care plans
- Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
- Providing health education and counseling to patients
- Proficiency in EKG rhythm interpretation and Hemodynamics monitoring
- Competency in ventilator management and IABP
Responsibilities:
- 13 years of previous RN critical care experience (CCRN and recent CVICU experience preferred)
- NIHSS stroke certification required
- Nursing Diploma or ASN; BSN preferred
- Previous experience in an acute care setting is strongly preferred
- Current Florida State Registered Nurse license or active FL RN license within 90 days of hire (if compact license held)
- Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider (BLS/ACLS certification)
- Current PALS certification required
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
- Strong critical thinking skills and excellent interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to read/comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions
- Proficiency in PC skills

Shifts:
