Position Overview:

Are you a dedicated Registered Nurse seeking an exciting opportunity in Cardiovascular Intensive Care? Join our dynamic team in Sanford, FL We are a leading healthcare provider in the region, committed to delivering top-notch care to our community.


Position Description:
As a Registered Nurse in our Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU), you will play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional patient care


Your responsibilities will include:

  • Observing, assessing, and diagnosing patients' conditions
  • Developing and implementing nursing care plans
  • Administering medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Providing health education and counseling to patients
  • Proficiency in EKG rhythm interpretation and Hemodynamics monitoring
  • Competency in ventilator management and IABP

Responsibilities:


  • 13 years of previous RN critical care experience (CCRN and recent CVICU experience preferred)
  • NIHSS stroke certification required
  • Nursing Diploma or ASN; BSN preferred
  • Previous experience in an acute care setting is strongly preferred
  • Current Florida State Registered Nurse license or active FL RN license within 90 days of hire (if compact license held)
  • Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider (BLS/ACLS certification)
  • Current PALS certification required
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 25 lbs.
  • Strong critical thinking skills and excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to read/comprehend written instructions and follow verbal instructions
  • Proficiency in PC skills

Salary:
