    Job Summary:


    The Occupational Therapy Assistant at Interim HealthCare will work directly with our patients to help them achieve their maximum level of independence and functionality.

    In this role, you will provide occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist. This is a part-time, hourly position in the healthcare/medical field at our franchise location in Rock Hill, South Carolina.


    Compensation & Benefits:
    The pay for this position ranges from $30 to $40 per hour, paid weekly.

    As a part-time employee, you will also be eligible for some benefits, including paid time off and access to our employee assistance program.


    Responsibilities:

    • Work under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist to provide occupational therapy services to patients
    • Conduct patient evaluations and create treatment plans in collaboration with the occupational therapist
    • Assist with implementing treatment plans, including therapeutic exercises, activities, and equipment
    • Monitor patient progress and document all treatment sessions and progress notes
    • Educate patients and their families on occupational therapy techniques and exercises to be performed at home
    • Communicate with other healthcare team members to coordinate patient care and progress
    • Participate in team meetings and provide input on patient progress and treatment plans

    Requirements:

    • Active license as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in the state of South Carolina
    • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical or healthcare setting
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Knowledge of occupational therapy techniques and equipment
    • Strong documentation and timemanagement skills
    • Ability to lift and move patients as needed
