    Department Overview

    PG&E's Transportation Services team is responsible for operating and managing a large commercial fleet in the U.S. They are dedicated to implementing efficient and sustainable transportation technologies as part of their commitment to offer safe, reliable, and affordable gas and electric services. The team is recognized for their green fleet innovation and collaboration with industry partners to develop best practices.

    • Responsible for managing all aspects of PG&E's vehicles & equipment fleet
    • Comprised of multiple operating departments
    • Oversees company-wide management of over 14,000 vehicles & equipment
    • Involved in regulatory and compliance issues, capital planning, clean air initiatives, and safety analyses

    Position Summary

    The Expert Compliance & Risk Consultant will oversee locations within North Coast area in Northern California such as Santa Rosa, Napa, Vallejo, and Eureka. Their role involves supporting the risk/compliance framework, identifying operational risks, and maintaining compliance with laws and regulations.

    Salary Range:
    Bay Area Minimum: $118,000
    Bay Area Maximum: $188,000

    Job Responsibilities

    • Perform quality assessments of vehicle, trailer, and equipment maintenance
    • Meet with mechanics and leaders to address findings
    • Update leadership on changes to requirements and program effectiveness
    • Lead company response to investigations and audits
    • Develop data-driven business cases and risk mitigation plans
    • Provide expertise on controls and mitigation plans

    Qualifications

    Minimum:

    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
    • 7 years job-related experience

    Desired:

    • Master's Degree or equivalent experience
    • 4 years of experience in risk management and compliance
