    Department Overview

    PG&E's Transportation Services team manages one of the largest commercial fleets in the U.S., focusing on efficient and sustainable green transportation technologies. The team collaborates with industry partners to develop policies and best practices in the field.

    The Transportation Services department oversees all aspects of PG&E's vehicles and equipment fleet, from design to disposition. It includes various operating departments such as Engineering, Field Operations, Business Support, Strategy, and Analytics.

    Position Summary

    These roles support the risk and compliance framework to ensure operational compliance with standards and regulations. They identify, manage, and mitigate operational risks and help adapt the framework to changes in laws and regulations.

    This Expert Compliance & Risk Consultant will oversee locations in the North Coast area, including garages in Santa Rosa, Napa, Vallejo, Eureka, etc. Ideal candidates are sought from these Northern California areas.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Perform quality assessments of vehicle, trailer, and equipment maintenance
    • Address findings with mechanics and leaders
    • Update leadership on changes and opportunities for improvement
    • Lead company response to investigations and audits
    • Develop data-driven business cases and risk mitigation plans
    • Provide expertise on controls and mitigation plans

    Qualifications

    Minimum:

    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
    • 7 years job-related experience

    Desired:

    • Master's Degree or equivalent experience
    • 4 years of experience in risk management and compliance
