Dental Assistant Needed - Cumming, GA

Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist and dental hygienist during dental procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and procedures
• Take and develop dental xrays as directed by the dentist
• Perform basic laboratory duties such as mixing materials and taking impressions
• Provide patients with instructions for oral care following treatment or surgery
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation in patient records
• Assist with scheduling appointments and managing patient flow
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
• Perform other duties as assigned

Skills:

• Proficiency in dental software dentrix
• Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and procedures
• Excellent patient assessment skills, including vital signs monitoring
• Ability to take accurate dental xrays
• Knowledge of CAD/CAM technology for digital impressions is a plus
• Experience as a dental receptionist is beneficial
