Your Mission
- Support, develop and integrate mechatronic systems for series projects in Ferndale
- Collaborate with cross-site (EU/global) and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of mechatronic, electrical and software components
- Analyze stakeholders' requirements and support mechatronic system and sub-system requirements
- Work with suppliers, including on-site support for sampling, manufacturability, and problem analysis
- Identify and analyze problems during the development process, considering function, appearance, feasibility, and manufacturability
- Prepare DV test and simulation plans for mechatronic components
- Support the approval of processes for electrical components, such as PPAP, in coordination with project teams
- Propose and drive improvement plans for mechatronic engineering processes
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics Engineering or a comparable qualification in a related field
- Proven experience in designing and developing mechatronic systems in a project environment
- Clear understanding of quality management systems
- Proven knowledge of mechanical engineering principles
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a team-oriented mindset
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention
