    Description


    We are a growing, Houston-based boutique commercial insurance agency looking to bring on additional experienced producers that desire to earn equity in the agency/ equity in your book of business.

    You will be responsible for aggressively developing and managing an active pipeline through seeking out prospects, calling on potential clients, conducting in-depth needs analysis/risk assessments, and strategically cross-selling products aligned with clients' needs.

    We have excellent carrier appointments to place coverage and an excellent service team to assist.

    We offer a range of compensation packages that are great while validating, excellent commission splits, full benefits, equity in the agency or book of business, and more.


    Responsibilities:

    • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
    • The ability to self-manage as this role will be remote
    • A track record of success and attaining production goals.
    • Devote your exclusive attention and time during working hours to the business of the Company and perform the duties and responsibilities necessary to produce Net Commissions and Fees on behalf of the Company;
    • Create and maintain lead list from various sources;
    • Prospect and secure opportunities to provide insurance services;
    • Collect, review, and provide accurate and thorough submission information to account managers for marketing;
    • Assist in soliciting, preparing, and review of insurance proposals, policies, and renewal information;
    • Comply with all state licensing and continuing education requirements necessary to perform your duties

    Qualifications:

    • 3 + years of Insurance Sales Experience preferably in the retail agency space.
    • Previous Sales Experience
    • Strong connections and lead generation in the marketplace
    • Preferably have a P&C license Compensation: $70,000 - $150,000 yearly
    • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
