The Office of Global Outreach and Extended Education (GOEE) in the Ira A. Fulton Schools of Engineering isseeking an energetic, self-motivated, customer service and team-oriented Student Services Coordinator
Associate to support the needs of our growing online graduate degree portfolio. The primary role will be to
provide administrative support and excellent customer service to our current and prospective graduate
students through digital correspondence.

Essential Duties
- Student Support: Provides administration and coordination of program activities and services for the students in a degree program, in conjunction with Academic Success Advising Coordinator. Counsel and confer with students providing technical guidance, problem solving and resolution. Implements internal systems and materials for delivery of student services. Serves as the initial contact for current students and triages student inquires as necessary. Escalates student requests to Academic Success Advising Coordinator or department academic leadership as necessary.
- Administrative Support: Maintains digital student records and files; Creates reports for administration. Serves as contact point for enrolled student regarding program information. Implements and take appropriate action to ensure efficiencies and accuracy in student services, in collaboration with Academic Success Advising Coordinator. Tracks and updates several sources of information, including spreadsheets and databases, to better serve existing students.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in field appropriate to area of assignment AND two years of administrative and appropriate program experience; OR, six years of progressively responsible administrative and appropriate program experience; OR, any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
Desired Qualifications
- Demonstrated knowledge of ASU academic structure and organization, academic programs, colleges, and Universitywide departments.
- Experience working with online graduate students
- Experience with student services databases and customer service management platforms (PeopleSoft, Salesforce, Smartsheet, Data Dashboards, Adobe Sign)
- Experience working in highvolume, fastpaced, student services environment
- Experience in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with peers, faculty, students, and administration.
- Experience working with diverse student populations
- Evidence in using problemsolving skills
- Evidence of communication skills.
- Experience in work that requires organization with a strong emphasis on attention to detail.
- Experience in rapidly adapting and effectively utilizing new technology, practices, policies and methods.
