- Ensures the effective use of materials, equipment, and personnel in producing quality products at minimum costs
- Acts as a liaison with engineering in releasing new products
- Develops systems to maintain reports and record keeping of company products
- Adapts departmental plans and priorities to address resource and operational challenges
- Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function
- Manages the team with focus on policy and strategy implementation and control
- Interacts with supervisors, customers, and/or functional peer group managers
- Recommends changes to policies and establishes procedures that affect immediate organization(s)
- Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends
- Bachelors degree
- At least 8 years of product manufacturing experience
- At least 2 years of management experience
- Masters degree
- At least 6 years of product manufacturing experience
- At least 2 years of management experience
- At least 10 years of product manufacturing experience
- At least 2 years of management experience

- Experience with electric torque controlled fastening tools
- Experience with CAD and 3D modeling tools preferred Siemens NX
- Experience with leak testing
- Experience with Robotic Assembly systems
- Experience with AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicles)
- Experience maintaining project budgets
- Experience launching new products to an existing production line
- Experience estimating project cost
- Experience presenting resolutions to quality issues
- Experience creating and maintaining project timelines
- Experience motivating team to find new ways to address production and quality issues
- Experience resolving daily production issues in a timely matter
- Experience leading diverse teams
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft products
