Description
Mr. Texas Real Estate is seeking a full-time Assistant Property Manager with a proven track record of success.

This position is located on-site at our office in northwest Houston and will assist with the onboarding and management of properties around Houston, Galveston, and Corpus Christi, TX.


The Assistant Property Manager will also display excellent business judgment, the ability to negotiate with local and national vendors, and be a capable leader with mínimal supervision.


Compensation:

$48,000 Per Year Plus Performance Bonuses


Responsibilities:


  • Maintain vendor relationships, implement budgets and coordinate onsite operations to ensure smooth operation of the property
  • Conducting thorough due diligence during the property acquisition process
  • Setting up utilities and coordinating tenant movein
  • Working with insurance vendors to review and maintain acceptable levels of coverage
  • Working with local maintenance vendors; overseeing contract negotiations, billing, and QC
  • Meet with local area managers to maintain maximum profitability for each rental unit
  • Ensure properties are kept in a safe and secure manner
  • Travel is required about 20% of the time to locations

Qualifications:


  • Some weekend and evening hours required
  • Ability to use computer programs such as Microsoft Office
  • Demonstrable skills in negotiation and selling
  • Great with people
- warm, friendly and helpful in person and on the phone

  • Demonstrable skills in negotiation and selling
  • Minimum of 5 years of direct apartment management experience, including multisite supervision
  • Tech skills in MS Office, Google Suite, and property management software
  • Reliable Transportation
  • Able to filed calls during weekend
