- Conduct thorough analyses to determine the root cause of price variances.
- Focus on unmatched invoices, prioritizing based on discounts and due dates.
- Verify purchase order status, including backorders, to identify received items.

- Conduct root cause analyses to resolve invoice and PO discrepancies.
- Develop and deliver training programs for Sales and Purchasing teams on PO accuracy best practices.
- Collaborate across departments to identify and implement solutions for recurring invoice pricing issues.
- Design efficient workflows for handling price variances, ensuring department alignment and effectiveness.
- Analyze variance records to identify patterns and root causes, driving continuous improvement.
- Provide purchase order writers with clear information about price variances and necessary actions.
- Establish and maintain communication channels with internal departments (Sales, Purchasing, Pricing, Product File, and Sourcing) to discuss and analyze price variance trends.
- Compile and distribute monthly summaries of price variance records to relevant stakeholders.
- Notify Accounts Payable clerks when variances are resolved for smooth processing.
- Communicate with the quantity variance team as needed to address related discrepancies.
- Regularly follow up with purchase order writers to ensure timely resolution of variances.
- High school diploma or equivalent, Associate Degree preferred.
- Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
- Excellent time management skills and ability to plan and proven ability to meet deadlines.
