MiRegistry, Achieve - the Minnesota Center for Professional Development, and the Wisconsin Registry provide accurate documentation of members' professional development journeys, in addition to collecting and publishing data that informs public policy and advocacy efforts.

Job Description:

Data Verification Specialist

Supervised by:

Director of Operations - Wisconsin

Work Location:

Fitchburg, WI - Hybrid (There is a 6 month on-site training requirement, then hybrid or remote work can begin)

FLSA Classification:

Non-Exempt


Essential Functions:

The Data Verification Specialist is responsible for processing and entering professional experience in a similar position.


Primary Responsibilities include:


  • Verify and code documentation submitted by the applicants.
  • Enter data ensuring accuracy and avoidance of duplication or errors.
  • Provide exemplary customer support.
  • Attend meetings, as requested.
  • Other tasks and responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements:


Education and Experience:


  • Associate degree and High School Diploma
  • Equivalent work experience
:

Four (4) years' experience in a similar position.

  • High speed internet access is required to meet the needs of hybrid/remote work.

Skills and Ability:


  • A high level of ability to successfully manage and complete multiple assignments and priorities with limited supervision.
  • Ability to establish effective working relationships with personnel at all levels.
  • Attention to details, initiative; resourcefulness; poise; tact; sound judgment.
  • Clerical skills to use office machines, maintain files, assist with mailings, and copying/collating documents.
  • Customer service orientated to professionally answer phones, respond to client requests in a timely manner, monitor phones and route appropriately.
  • Strong computer skills to perform data entry tasks and the ability to use Excel, Microsoft Word and Office, and Internet browsers.
  • High level of organizational skills to help maintain equitable workload among clerical staff and provide input on system needs/modifications.

Physical Demands:


  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Frequently reaching and manipulating objects, tools and/or controls.
  • Manual dexterity and coordination is required over 50% of the work period while operating equipment such as computer keyboard, mouse, calculator and similar machines.
  • Lifting up to 10 pounds on a regular basis and up to 25 pounds occasionally.
