- Master of Science in Nursing (completed or in progress)
- Candidates without a graduate degree (BSN) may be considered when fully qualified faculty are not available and shall teach under the guidance of another qualified faculty member in the department
- Candidates without a graduate degree in nursing shall have a baccalaureate degree in nursing AND evidence of a plan for obtaining a graduate degree in nursing within a 5 year period
- A current, unencumbered RN license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
- Clearances and background checks are required prior to commencement of employment and as a condition of continued employment: PA State Police Criminal Record Check, FBI Criminal Record Check, PA Child Abuse History Clearance.
- Recent clinical experience in medical-surgical/critical care nursing care is required
- Clinical teaching experience is preferred
