Description

The Group Facilitator is responsible for conducting educational group sessions with our clients and supporting the mission of our organization.

• Provide education, process and supportive groups within organization.
• Provide support to our population in regard to substance abuse.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal laws concerning execution of all tasks.
• Responsible for documenting all group notes into the EMR system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with deadlines set forth by governing and accreditation agency.
• Develop appropriate group sessions in which are approved by management prior to sessions.
• Address all cares and concerns related to the client to the medical and/or clinical team as needed.
• Ensure that the safety of the client is always our priority.
• Any other duties as instructed by management.
• Acquire and maintain all CEU, CPR, trainings, etc. as required by DCF and JCAHO.

• Bachelor's Degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work or other related field.
• A minimum of 2 years in the related field
