As a Certified Athletic Trainer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and performance of our student-athletes.

• Injury Prevention: Implement comprehensive injury prevention programs tailored to the needs of individual athletes and teams. Conduct assessments to identify potential risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.
• Injury Evaluation and Treatment: Provide immediate evaluation and treatment of athletic injuries, including onfield assessment during practices and games. Collaborate with team physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure proper diagnosis and treatment plans.
• Rehabilitation: Design and oversee rehabilitation programs for injured athletes to facilitate safe and timely return to play. Monitor progress, adjust treatment plans as necessary, and provide ongoing support throughout the recovery process.
• Education and Counseling: Educate athletes, coaches, and staff on injury prevention techniques, proper conditioning, and safe training practices. Provide guidance on nutrition, hydration, and overall wellness to optimize athletic performance and wellbeing.
• Administrative Duties: Maintain accurate records of injuries, treatments, and rehabilitation progress. Coordinate scheduling of athletic training services, including practices, games, and rehabilitation sessions. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines, including those set forth by state athletic associations and governing bodies.
• Professional Development: Stay current with advancements in sports medicine and athletic training practices through continuing education, seminars, and professional certifications. Participate in professional organizations and networking opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Athletic Training or related field (Master's degree preferred)
• Current certification by the Board of Certification (BOC) for Athletic Trainers
• State licensure or eligibility for licensure as an Athletic Trainer in California
• CPR/AED certification
• Strong clinical skills, including injury assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment
• Prior experience working with high school athletes preferred
