Report to work in uniform presented professionally, neat, and cleanGreet all guests in a friendly, positive manner.
Ask questions of guests and make personal connections to make them feel they are welcome and valuedAnticipate and meet the needs and expectations of our guests, then go one step furtherCommunicate regularly with the Supervisors to ensure they know of any linen shortages or laundry backupsStock and store clean linens in the appropriate areas of the laundry room and storage roomsAssist in removing linen and trash from guest roomsRemove all trash from hotel floor landings and take out to trash compactor regularlyTake dirty linen to laundry and sort appropriatelyRun clean linen and supplies to storage on floors and housekeepers as neededEnsure that enough linen is available to start the next day's housekeeping shiftKeep the laundry room and storage rooms clean and stocked with all necessary suppliesReport any maintenance issues to SupervisorReport all lost and found items to SupervisorEnsure that all standards set by Suburban Inns and Hilton are being followed at all timesDeliver items to guest rooms as requested by the front deskAssist in cleaning of rooms as needed including making bedsAssist with folding laundry as neededKeep all hallways, public areas and closets clean, neat and vacuumedAssist with quarterly linen inventoryAssist with emptying cartsAssist with stocking housekeeping cartsMake beds as needed to assist housekeeping departmentReceive housekeeping orders and put away in appropriate placesPerform janitorial duties as assigned by managementMaintain a positive attitude throughout the shift, and keep Team Member morale highFollow all Suburban Inns ProcessesExhibit regular and recurrent attendance recordsOther duties as requested by managementPosition Requirements:
Minimum Knowledge:
Requires ability to interpret / extract information and / or perform arithmetic functions. May require typing, basic computer knowledge, record keeping, or word processing.

Suburban Inns approved black slacks or Dockers (no yoga-style) and black, close-toed, non-slip shoes are the responsibility of the Team Member.

Visible earrings are allowed in the ears only or must be covered throughout the course of the shift. Hair must be kept well-groomed.
