Description

As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with the dentist and dental team to provide quality oral healthcare to our patients.

• Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including preparing the treatment area, sterilizing instruments, and handing instruments to the dentist as needed.
• Take dental Xrays to assist in treatment planning and diagnosis.
• Prepare materials for impressions and restorations.
• Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and postoperative care instructions.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records
• Schedule patient appointments
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant or completion of a Dental Assistant program is preferred.
• Knowledge of dental anatomy, terminology, and procedures.
• Proficiency in taking dental Xrays and operating related equipment.
• Familiarity with SoftDent is a plus.

• Dental assisting: 1 year (preferred)

• X-Ray Certification (preferred)

• Tucson, AZ required)
