The Opportunity


We are seeking an experienced Data Entry individual to be a part of our Data Quality Control and Governance team, responsible for correspondence (paper and/or electronic), independently researching data for trends/weaknesses, and being part of ongoing process improvement.


What You Can Look Forward To

  • Focuses on ensuring our contract partners' data is accurate and complete.
  • Provides recommendations and solutions to management and technology partners (process/system improvement, gaps in controls, technology solutions, etc.).
  • Acts as an ambassador of Data Quality and Risk Management.
  • Participates in various research efforts as needed by Prevention Bureau's, including identifying remediation efforts through independent research of approved thirdparty sources (Google, GIS Maps, County Tax/Property Assessor Portals, and State Corporation Searches).
  • Precisely reviewing, entering, and maintaining data to ensure realtime accuracy.
  • Responsible for reporting risks that are identified to the appropriate team and/or management. Additionally, responsible for managing, monitoring and reporting risks within the scope of your work area, to include, but not limited to Information Security risks.
  • Communication with Prevention Bureau's and thirdparty Inspection Companies.
  • Collaborating with a team as well as being able to work independently.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Minimum of 4 years' experience related data entry, data management, or client onboarding preferred.
  • Background knowledge with fire safety systems and NFPA Codes and Regulations preferred.
  • Enjoys research and problem solving.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing tasks.
  • Strong critical thinking skills, able to work independently, develop personal documentation related to tasks to be performed, and make sound, factbased decisions.
  • Able to collaborate with team members to help problem solve.
  • Ability to convey information to all levels of the organization in a clear, focused, and concise manner.
  • Strong ability to prioritize multiple projects and responsibilities.
  • Selfstarter with strong work ethic, enthusiasm and ability to energize others.
  • Able to accept coaching and guidance to improve capabilities, ask for assistance when necessary, and continually work to grow within the position.
  • Ability to implement new ideas and influence others to produce better decisions.
  • Fouryear degree preferred.
  • Experience with MS Office with an emphasis on Excel preferred.
  • Experience with Master Data or Electronic Records Management preferred.

Pay:
From $40,000.00 per year
