Responsibilities:


  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring vital signs
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans
  • Assess patient needs, create individualized care plans, and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions
  • Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures, conditions, and selfcare techniques
  • Maintain accurate medical records and documentation
  • Adhere to all relevant healthcare policies, procedures, and regulations
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient progress and coordinate care

Requirements:


  • Valid Registered Nurse license state/Compact
  • Proven experience in Corrections facility
  • Strong knowledge of nursing principles, practices, and procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record systems
  • Proficient in IV infusion, catheter care, and other nursing procedures

Pay:
$ $53.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week


Physical setting:

  • Long term care

Standard shift:

  • Evening shift

Weekly schedule:

  • 5x Monday to Friday

Experience:


  • Corrections: 1 year (required)

License/Certification:

  • BLS Certification (required)
  • RN (required)

Ability to Commute:

  • Jessup, MD required)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Jessup, MD 20794: Relocate before starting work (required)
