The University of Applied Sciences South Westphalia is currently seeking a Landwirtschaftlich-Technische*n Assistent*in (LTA) or Assistent*in (m/w/d) – Boden / Pflanze (50%) to join the Department of Agricultural Economics for the research project "Resilient Forest/Open Land Systems for a Multifunctional Regionally Adapted Forest Bioeconomy (ReForm-regioWald)" at the Soest location.


Responsibilities:

  • Conducting soil physical investigation methods for the characterization and evaluation of soils, both in the field and in the soil laboratory at the Soest location
  • Performing chemical soil analyses on a small scale
  • Evaluating and documenting test results using appropriate programs
  • Preparing laboratory reports
  • Assisting with exercises related to the project

Requirements:

  • Successfully completed vocational training
