Duties and Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional customer service to all customers by discovering their needs

Assist customers in finding the right products and making purchasing decisions using suggestive selling techniques

Maintains knowledge of all products offerings and promotions and supports advertising campaigns, sales promotions by informing all customers

Prepares food items per instructions and/or recipes provided.

Process (ring-up) all sales on cash register, or point-of-sale equipment properly and accurately

Meet or exceed sales targets and goals

Maintains ethical integrity, and honesty while handling all types of payment received for products sold.

Follows company procedure and all laws governing restricted beverage and tobacco sales.

Complies with all food safety behaviors including proper handling procedures, temperature requirements, and established sanitary standards.

Maintains a professional appearance in accordance with company uniform and personal appearance rules.

Performs duties necessary to maintain internal and external store cleanliness; in addition to basic upkeep so that floors, windows, restrooms, food preparation areas, shelves, and counters stay clean and presentable at all times.

Receives products from vendors, following correct procedures.

Maintains merchandise including proper rotation, storage and stocking.

Assists in maintaining proper inventory levels and audits.

Collaborate with team members to achieve store objectives.

Reports to work on time and when scheduled.

Performs other duties as assigned.


Working Conditions
Employee performs approximately 99% of work indoors. Minimal outside work will be required.

Employee is exposed to intermittent indoor cold temperature extremes when working in the walk-in cooler and/or freezer.

Employee must be able to utilize the following electric equipment: telephone, cash register/POS system, debit/credit card machine, microwave, oven, deep fryer, coffee/cappuccino machine, etc.

Employee must handle liquids, and certain cleaning solvents.


Work Schedule
Committed to work assigned hours and/or adjust work schedule as requested by manager. Must be able to work flexible hours (evenings into nights, weekends, and holidays.)

Store operates 16 hours a day, 7 days a week.


Knowledge and Skills
Demonstrates sales and customer services skills.

Fluent in English and basic understanding of retail math principles.

Proficient in operating a cash register and familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems

Ability to read and interpret documents such as rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals and to speak effectively before customers and employees.

Ability to exercise sound judgment and work with minimum supervision. Ability to perform basic computer skills.
