    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Graduation from high school, and some experience in grounds keeping or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Knowledge of the proper use and operation of equipment used in golf course maintenance.
    • Mechanical aptitude and past experience as large equipment operator (such as large trucks, tractors, mower, golf course equipment, etc.).

    Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, seeing and repetitive motions.


    Incumbent may be exposed to hazardous physical conditions (i.e., domestic and wild animals, mechanical parts, vibration, etc.), extreme temperatures, and intense noise.

    Required to wear hearing protection. Required to walk on uneven terrain.

    The work often involves the ability to perform routine moderate lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs. including backpack mowers, tree trimmer
