    Special Education Teacher - Los Angeles, CA

    ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and passionate Special Education Teacher to join our team in Los Angeles, CA. As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a crucial role in providing educational support and instruction to students with special needs. This position offers an excellent opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students and collaborate with a supportive team of educators and professionals.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
    • Provide direct instruction and support to students with various disabilities, including but not limited to, learning disabilities, emotional/behavioral disorders, autism spectrum disorders, and intellectual disabilities.
    • Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies and accommodations to promote student learning and academic progress.
    • Collaborate with other members of the educational team, including teachers, therapists, and support staff, to facilitate student success and achievement.
    • Monitor student progress, collect data, and modify instructional plans as necessary to address individual learning goals.
    • Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders regarding student progress, challenges, and successes.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or related field.
    • Valid state Teaching Certification in Special Education.
    • Previous experience working with students with special needs preferred.
    • Strong knowledge of special education laws, regulations, and best practices.
    • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
    • Dedication to meeting the diverse needs of all students and promoting inclusive educational environments.
