    Description

    The HR Coordinator at Tadlock Roofing aids with and facilitates the human resource processes at all business locations, to include Employee Relations, Human Resource Administration, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, Onboarding, Offboarding, and Review process. This position resolves benefits-related problems and ensures effective use of plans and positive employee relations. This role provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance and HRIS entry.

    Key Responsibilities

    The HR Coordinator is responsible for:
    • Performs customer service functions by answering employee requests and questions.
    • Completes Forms I-9, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files.
    • Submits online investigation requests and assists with new-employee background checks.
    • Reconciles benefits statements.
    • Administers health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes and terminations. Processes required documents through payroll and insurance providers to ensure accurate record-keeping and proper deductions. Conducts audits of payroll, benefits or other HR programs and recommends corrective action.
    • Assists with processing of terminations.
    • Assists with the preparation of the performance review process to include employee relationships and the disciplinary process, Semi-annual and annual employee reviews.
    • Assists with recruitment and interview process. Tracks status of candidates in HRIS and ensures candidates are quickly funneled through the recruiting process.
    • Schedules meetings and interviews as requested by Hiring Managers.
    • Makes photocopies; mails, scans and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions.
    • Files documents into appropriate employee files and ensure employee files are always up to date.
    • Assists or prepares correspondence as requested.
    • Prepares new-employee files.
    Responsible for the following:

    • Ensure any and all processes are up to date and accurate.
    • Partners with the other departments too meet Annual and Quarterly Goals.

    • Responsible for other duties as assigned to ensure Excellence across the organization.
    Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

    The HR Coordinator will be evaluated on several key metrics:
    • Accuracy and timeliness of administrative and reporting tasks (completion of To-Do's and Defined Work).
    • Positive feedback and collaboration with other departments
    • Accuracy of time and pay audits
    • Onboarding and off-boarding timeline and coordination
    • Timeliness and completion of Employee Reviews
    • Accuracy of tracking Coaching and Opportunity for Employee growth across the organization
    The HR Coordinator will be evaluated on meeting and exceeding metric goals above and any others as assigned.
