- Conduct daily physical and mental status assessments and maintain accurate documentation.
- Complete health questionnaires and record information precisely in the medical records.
- Administer medication, monitor for side effects and client response, and document observations.
- Manage weight and vital signs in the EMR, ensuring accuracy and reporting any anomalies.
- Engage in client observations to encourage positive behaviors and safety.
- Coordinate with the pharmacy for medication-related queries and deliveries.
- Monitor clients' nutritional needs and report any deviations from the care plan.
- Organize and follow up on consults with medical personnel for diagnostic tests.
- Complete various nursing assessments and notes accurately in the medical record.
- Administer first aid according to protocol and document follow-up actions.
- Update insurance information for medication precertification and coverage.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, families, and colleagues.
- Participate in shift hand-off communications.
- Perform any other assigned duties.
- IV certification within 30 days of employment.
- Active Practical Nurse license in the respective state.
- Preferably, more than a year of hospital-based clinical experience.
- Current CPR Certification, preferably from the American Heart Association.

Position Overview
As the Licensed Practical Nurse at Alsana, you will be responsible for delivering direct nursing care, which includes tasks such as medication administration, phlebotomy, and recording all nursing-related assessments in the EMR.
