Here's what you can expect from this role: - **Compensation:** - Pay Range: $46.17 / hour - $25,000 new hire sign-on bonus for experienced nurses (full-time and weekend shifts only) - $20,000 sign-on bonus for new graduate nurses (full-time and weekend shifts only) - **Benefits available for eligible positions include:** - 100% tuition assistance - Nursing-specific wellness initiatives - Generous paid time off - Annual certification recognition payment - Paid parental leave - Public Service Loan Forgiveness Program eligibility - **Multiple Shifts Available:** - Full-time AM: 3 12-hour shifts per week - Full-time PM: 3 12-hour shifts per week - Full-time weekend AM and PM - Part-time weekend AM and PM - Flexi/PRN - **Unit Details:** - The Heart & Vascular Center is a 48-bed unit designed to streamline care for cardiac, neuro interventional, and interventional radiology patients - Staff conduct assessments and procedures including cardioversions, ablations, ECMO, angioplasty, and more - Ideal candidates have critical care experience - **Work with the Best at UAB Medicine:** - UAB Medicine is committed to education and advancing medical science through research - Recognized as a 5-time Magnet-designated organization - Ranked among the nation's top hospitals for cardiology and heart surgery **Job Description:** To provide moderate sedation care and counsel individuals in the heart and vascular procedure setting, promoting health and preventing illness and injury.
