Fabela Defense Industries is a rapidly growing machine shop with over 30 years of experience in manufacturing.

We have a great team with extensive knowledge, and we are now seeking an experienced Eurotech Lathe CNC programmer who can assist us in taking our business to the next level.

The programmer will be responsible for programming, assisting with machine setup, creating fixtures on an as needed basis for our Eurotech lathe machines.

The main machines needed to be programmed are our lathes (Eurotech), however there will be opportunities to get into mills and swiss machines down the road if desired.

Duties & responsibilities

Program, setup, troubleshoot, and optimize Eurotech lathe machines for maximum efficiency, productivity, and quality.
Select and install appropriate tooling for each job based off job specifications.
Design and create fixtures as needed.
Create, read, and interpret technical drawings and 3D models.
Create setup, inprocess and quality documents as needed for jobs.
Collaborate with the production team to improve processes and resolve technical issues on ongoing and upcoming projects.

Qualifications

Require 2+ years of experience of CNC Programming on Eurotech lathes.
Strongly prefer 5+ years of experience of CNC Programming on Eurotech lathes.
The ability to create, read, and interpret technical drawings and 3D models using Fusion 360, Solid Works, Creo or similar CAD software is strongly preferred.
Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
