Summary:


Work closely with the team to pack, band, and tag aluminum extrusions into bundles in a timely manner, to meet goals for the Pack-Load-Ship process.

Fast-paced environment in both hot and cold conditions. Starting salary $18.00/hour plus $2.00/hour shift premium for night shift.


Responsibilities:


  • Be able to navigate and understand the AS400 system
  • Follow packing instructions according to unique customer specifications
  • Lift and pack aluminum parts individually and with a partner
  • Uses measurement tools and visual inspection to verify the quality of parts
  • Finishes tasks in a timely manner to meet productivity goals
  • Work closely with Packing team members and coordinate with other departments as needed
  • Follows applicable Job Safety Analysis and Work Instructions
  • Able to work set schedule for full 12 hour shift

Job Requirements:


  • Ability to recognize risks & hazards
  • General understanding of quality standards
  • Ability to read a tape measure
  • Basic mathematical skills

Education and Work Requirements:


  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
